Hi Lisa, Jeff
Please feel free to publish this on your website, plus the photo if you wish. I took the picture this year in the Lakes where she still loves to walk with us, doesn’t look bad for 14 does she?
Thank you for your help.
Three years ago we were walking our much loved Border Collie Eve in the Lakes when she was bitten by what we now believe was a small adder, all we knew at the time was that she had stood on something? I checked her paw for thorns etc but could find nothing, I told her(as you do) that she was being soft and we carried on our walk, she didn’t even limp.
Within 24 hours he left back foot had swollen up so much it was like a small cows hoof! We got her to the vets who thought that a snake bite may have been to blame, lots of injections and tests followed and we were pleased that the poison hadn’t reached any vital organs. However in the next 12 hours the paw split open and de gloved some 6 inches up l leaving a bloody, skinless mess with a smell I can’t or won’t describe!
The prognosis was amputation of her leg, how could we take a leg from our Eve? On one hand we were happy that we would not lose her but how miserable would she be with only three legs? To say we were heartbroken would be a massive understatement. I asked that we give her a few days to see if the foot started to heal and to give us time to think, the vets who I can’t praise highly enough packed the leg in gel and bandaged it up for her.
I don’t know why or how I did this but I sought help from a friend who put me in touch with Lisa and Jeff who asked me to give them a picture of Eve, they also gave me a crystal to place in her bed which I actually bound in copper wire and attached it to her collar.
Two days later I returned to the vets with Eve, hoping that they would take off the bandage to find that the leg was better. What happened next caused the vet to get a camera and take some pictures of something that “shouldn’t happen” Eve’s leg had started to grow skin back, but not from the edges, in the middle!
Lots of trips back and forward to the vets and after 3 months her leg had re grown 95% of its skin and hair back, to this day the vets are puzzled how she made such a recovery from what looked like certain amputation.
We have been back to the Lakes with her every year since, now 14 years old but looks half her age.
Now I know Collie’s are intelligent but I don’t think she really understood why I hung the crystal round her neck(it still hangs over her bed) and I certainly didn’t explain to her that I had sent her photo to Lisa so I think we can rule out the placebo effect.
I have always had an open mind, it is obvious that there are things going on that science cannot explain, all I know is that I am forever grateful to Lisa and Jeff for whatever they did for Eve. I don’t expect she will live forever but she still has a quality of life that she would not have had with 3 legs.
If you are in need, keep an open mind, go and see Lisa and Jeff, they may be able to help.
Thank you both
Fantastic shop with awesome owners. It's a little community of friends and I wish I lived near enough to go in every week. Still, I use their on line service to send pressies and talk on the phone for advice. BRILLIANT!

I only recently discovered Spellbound and have only been in a couple of times but it's a really calm and peaceful shop with a great range of products. The people are really nice and I will definitely be going there for supplies in the future. The only problem I found was that there was so much I wanted!
I love going to Spellbound. I think the shop is lovely, nice caring staff and very friendly, always happy to help. Love and light to you all xxxx

I'd recommend Spellbound to anyone. If you are interested in holistic therapies and all things spiritual, then this is your place in the Nuneaton area. Similarly it is a great shop to look in for unique gifts and interesting items generally. The owners and staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and eager to help.
I love going into the shop and the website is a brilliant addition that allows me to browse when the shop is closed. The atmosphere is very serene and the people running the shop are so helpful and friendly, in fact its like talking to old frineds when you go there.
This is a nice shop with a large range of unusual gifts and novelty items. It has a lovely range of candles and incence.
The shop is full to bursting with retail items to suit every pocket and fulfill most occasions.
